March-April Updates

Updates for the past 1 month or so: 

 Worked at Ziming's Jap restaurant for 1 night, first time dressing up to work like this hahaha

Brunch at Chye Seng Huat Hardware with Sandra on a weekday, they serve really delicious food and good coffee 

 Pretty cafe!

 Hopped over nearby for desserts, their pies were nothing fantastic though.

 Very very fail I know, but this is my first cuppa coffee! So so happy that 40 hands allowed me to have a go at this, can't wait to work so that I can practice again~

 Brunch at The Coffee Daily with Ivy was very mediocre, I only give credit to its ulu location thus a quiet cafe to chill in peace

 Back at Creamier for waffles with ice cream, our 3rd visit already! Can't believe Sean loves this so much, he's willing to travel for it :O

 First time meeting Sean on his nights out on a Wednesday!

 Just last Friday, dined at this ramen joint, Uma Uma with Sean. I find their ramen so-so, lacking many essential ingredients such as the basic leeks. Oh and their eggs suck, not even runny at all. Santouka ramen is still holding #1 in my heart

 Chicago Cheesecake that won our hearts, every bite literally melts in the mouth!!! Yumz.

 Brunch at Waffles Slayer with Sean, just beside Strangers' Reunion. Had a really bad and disappointing experience with Strangers' Reunion waffles the previous time I was there. Their waffles were quite off, not crispy at all. However this time round, their waffles didn't disappoint! I ordered the matcha waffles, it was fluffy and crispy, everything went very well together. Would go back again for their awesome coffee and to try other waffles!

Last Sunday, afternoon swim at Sean godma's place:

 2 days ago, met Sandra for dinner at Nakhon! 2 unemployed girls enjoying our freedom 

Decided on jap for lunch at Akashi with Sean today. Affordable prices for their lunch sets, loved their sushi and cha soba yum! After lunch, we caught Captain America and walked around Orchard a little. Happy weekday date with affordable jap lunch and $7 movie tickets!

It's only 1135pm but I'm feeling way too sleepy, gonna crash goodnight!

Selfless

Many backdated posts as usual! First up, Sean's 22nd birthday! Went to Carousel for a lunch buffet with his friends few Saturdays back. 

Look at their wide variety of desserts :O The sashimi station was also very fresh!

 Rose/bandung fondue. Chocolate fondue. Green tea fondue. 

Out of so many desserts, loved their chocolate fondue and their froyo stations the most!

On his actual day:

I whipped up tomato pasta along with runny scrambled eggs (Lola's style hahahaha) and brought it for our dinner date to surprise him

Our actual dinner was at Tampines Sukiya. Birthday boy requested to go there for a simpler dinner! This year there was nothing fanciful, but a simple night doesn't mean a lousy night :)

Hope you really did enjoy your simple night out with me and the mini surprise I prepared, although this post came one month late. I love you, always. You're the only one who still makes my heart race.

Opportunity Cost

Last night's BBQ party for Lester's belated birthday at my place! Quite a successful one and I think everyone had fun hehe. Simple BBQ but filled my heart with warmth :') 

We bought a food hamper for the birthday boy hahaha worth $120++++ mixture of fruits, veggies and dog food etc. We had bbq food, durians, grapes, mangosteens, watermelons, blueberry cheesecake and PV's cupcakes (they are the best btw!), what a sinful and merry night ^^
